Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Doerrie and Jennifer from Booker
came Thursday to visit the Horace Greens. Mr. and Mrs.
Doerrie made a business trip to Canyon on Friday and
visited also with the Joe Greens. They returned by Amar-
illo and visited with Mr. and Mrs. Robin Green Margaret,
Ben, and Morris and they brought Ben and Morris back
to spend the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Charley Hearn visited Mrs. Alcie Pitman
in Amarillo Friday.
Wendel Bolin of .ampa spent Wednesday with Mr. and

Mrs. Ollle Nelson and Mrs. Bonnie Koontz visited Tues-
day in Amarillo with Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Nelson and Mrs.
Endora Joynes.
Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Mahaffey made a business trip to
Memphis Wednesday and while there they visited Mr. and
Mrs. Thomas Clayton and visited in the Hall County Hos-
pital with several Clarendon people who are in the hospital.
Mrs. Ray McCraken of McLean spent Tuesday night with
Mrs. Etta Reynolds.
Mrs. Charlene Brown and children of Eads spent Sunday
night with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vance Gray and with
Mr. and Mrs. Bud Brown in Groom. She returned home on
Wednesday.
Mrs. Katherine Dunn visited her parents Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Dunn of Dallas over the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. Nuford Dill made a business trip to Mem-
phis Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Lane attended the high school band
concert Tuesday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mahaffey attended the Community Ac-
tion meeting in Clarendon Tuesday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Gray and children of Amarillo were
guests Sunday evening in Mr. and Mrs. Vance Gray home.
Mrs. Velma Butler of Mercudes, Texas, is staying with her
mother Mrs. James Tolbert,

Clarence Reynolds Tuesday night.
Mrs. Hubert Rhoades visited Saturday afternoonwith Wal-
ter Hughes, his brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Robert
Hughes who has been with Walter for several weeks. On
Monday Walter went home with Mr. and Mrs. Hughes to
Pertn, Texas.
Mrs. James Tolbert came home from the Hall County
Hospital Friday. Welcome home Mrs. Tolbert and hope you
are better by now.
Horace Green and Jack Green of Umburger made a busi-
ness trip to Wise County one day last week.

parents of a grandson born Friday morning. The parents
