Players are Catherine Chamberlain, Elizabeth Simmons, IAndsey Shel- ton, Erica Smith, Mindy Auston, Hedley Girls Qualify for Regional Track Meet Ain 29th and 30th five girls from Hedley High School will participate the Region 1-A Track Meet. Last weekend, the team qualified for the regional meet by finishing in either first or second in their events at the district track meet. H.H.S. took only six girls and three boys to the district meet. All six of the girls and two boys scored points at the meet. The girls team finished fifth of ten teams and the boys Rnkhed seventh of ten. Those scoring points in the girls' competition were as follows: Christie Hoover, Jennifer Carson, Christina Woodard, and Chy Graves-2nd place 800m relay; Christie Hoover, 6th place 100ng 6th place long jump, and participated in the 200m prelims; Tiffany W'dkinson, 6th place 100m hurdles, 6th place 400m, and is the alternate member on the 800m relay team; Chy Graves, 1st place long jump, 1st place 100m, 1st place 400m, and finalist shot put; Mahdi White, 6th place shot put, and RnAllq discuss; Jennifer Carson, 5th place 400m and participated in the 200m prelims and Christina Woodard, 4th place 100m, 4th place 200m, and participated in long jump prelims. The Hedley boys participating in the district meet were as follows: Chad Campbell participated in the 200m, 400m, and 300m hurdles; Michael Gay, 3rd place 3200m and 5th place 1600m; and Johnny Hnggatt, 3rd place 800m, 6th place long jump, and participated in the 400m.
