Page 4 Te ciarenb0n 2ews May 26 Valedictorian Salutatorian C00ss DAVID WILLIAM NEELEY This year's class valedictorian is David William Nceley, son of Cary Don and Pare Neeley of Quail. David earned this honor by finishing with an average of 96A3. He plans to attend OSU in Stmwater, Oklahoma, and to study biosystems engineering David was very active in his high school years as he was involved Jn FFA, FHA, BPA, basketball, baseball, One-Act Play, Spanish Club, Yearbook Staff, and U1L Academics (Literary Criticism, Mathematics, and Number Sense). David qualified for Regional UIL Academics competition in three e, eats and received High Score National Merits Scholars Program honors. Thi_s year David was voted Mr. HHS, Most Likely to Succeed, and Basket- ball Captain, and Senior Class Vice President. STEPHEN CHAD CAMPBELL - Stephen Chad Campbell, is the son of lace Campbell of Hedley, graduates with an average of 86.93. His future plans are to attend TSTC in Amarillo and to major in computer repair. His high school activities include: basketball, track, BPA, FFA, FHA, One- Act Play, Yearbook Staff, and baseball. This year Chad was voted Mr. HHS Runner-Up and Best All Around. LANDON CtlARLES JACOPS Landon Jacope, son of Zoda Farrls of Del Rio and Ted Jacops of Amherst, graduates with an average of 80.15. His future plans include attending college at TSTC and majoring in auto mechanics. His high school activities include: FFA, football, and Business Club. The Hedley High School graduating class of 1994 invites everyone to their commencement exercise on Friday, May 27,1994, at 8.q}0 pm in the HHS Gymnasium. An all-night substance-free gradua- tion party wm be given in the class' honor the same evening with dancing, games, and food. The next morning after breakfast, the Seniors will leaVe for their Senior Trip with Lyndon Messer, class sponsor, and parents Pare Nceley and Janny Longan to San Antonio (Fiesta Texas) and New Braunfels (The Schlltterbaun water park). CHRISTIE ALICE HOOVER Christie Alice Hoover, daughter of James Hoover of Hedley and Bar- bara Malone of Wichita Falls, graduates with an average of 833. Her future plans include attending college at either Ranger Junior College or TSTC and major in counseling. Her high school ac- tivities indud basketball, tennis, cheerleading, cross-country, track, BPA, PFA, FELA, One-Act Play, Spanish Club, Pep Club, UIL Academics (journalism, poetry & keyboarding, baseball, and Year- ....... voted truss nt xunner.up, Bai: kethall Captain, Most Spirited, and Head Cheerleader. TIFFANY RENEE WILKINSON Tiffany Renee Wilkinson, daughter of Gwan wakiuson and Clairece Hoggatt of Hedley, graduates with an average of 85JJ7. Her future plans are to attend Clarendon College and eventually become a pediatric nurse. Her high school activities include: Ims- kethall, BPA, FFA, Spanish Club, and trach. This yenr Tiffany was voted Senior Class Favorite, Miss HHS Runner-Up, and Basketball Captain. ISABEL RAMIREZ MOORE Isabel Rmnlrez Moore, daughter of Richard and Emma Ramirez, graduates with an average ofgsg. Isabel's future plans include going to Clarendon College to study business subjects and to become a legal secreta. Her high school activities include: basketball, cross.country, Spanish Club, FFA, One-Act Play, Business Club, FHA, and Drama Club. TONY WAYNE MOORE Tony Wayne Moore, son of Dvmin and Martha Moore of Hedley, graduates with an average of 82$. His future plans include going into the military and becoming a helicopter pilot, a computer programmer, or a technician. His high activities indude: basketball, baseball, and FFA. ANGLE LONGAN Angle Longan, daughter of Ronnie and is this year's class salutatorian with an average of 95.17. future plans include attending Clarendon Jr. College for years thou on to the nursing Tech. She plans to then add a masters degree in pediatrics. high school activities include: cheerlending, basketball, crms-country, FFA, FHA, BPA, Yearbook Staff, Spanish UIL Academics (journalism & literary criticism), Act Play. Angle competed in two state meets this school ycar. competed at the Business Professionals of America State in Dallas in the Office Specialist (WordPerfect) contest placing second at the area at HS. competed at UT in Austin in 1 in the editorial writing contest after winning first in District second in Regional. This year Angle's peers voted her as HHS, Most Likely to Succeed, and Prettiest Girl, and Class President. JAPED WAYNE SIMS Jared Wayne Sims, son of Bobby Sims and Sherry Rippetoe Clarendon, graduates with an average of 89.20. His future  are to go to the Air Force and attend classes there. When the military, he plans to open his own business. His acflvifl include: basketball, FF A, One-Act Play, roettmlk and track. Th year jared was Up, Most Likely to Become Mr. Universe, Senior Class and was selected to play in the All.Star Basketball game at 6-Man Coaches Association Meeting JERAMIE HOPE QUESENBURY Jeramle Hope Quesenbury, daughter of David Quesenbury of Boise CIW, Oklahoma, and Melinda Quesenbury of Winona, Kansas, graduates with an average of 87. She plans to attend Clarendon College and major in accountiv Jeramie came to HIIS last fall from Wlnona, Kansas, and is the niece of Clarei Hosptt of Hedley. Jeramle's high school activities include: basketball, volleyball, track, volleyball manager, T-Club (Letterman's Club), Kayettes Youth Group, and queen ca" didate for Swirl (Basketball Sweetheart). LAURA ANN OWENS Laura Ann Owens, daughter of Larry and Alta Owens of Leila Lake, graduates with an average of 88.40. She plans to attend Clarendon Cellege and seek a degree in history and agriculture. Laura attmded all her years of school, except her senior year, at Kemp, Text. Her high school activities include. Band, BPA, and Spanish Club. T'nis year Laura's classmates voted her as Most Talented.
