Mr. and Mrs. Fred Graham of Muleshoe spent Satur-
day night .and Sunday dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Hubert
Rhoades, Mr. and Mrs. Doyce Graham and Mike from
Clarendon, and Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Graham and Richard.
Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Start and family from Perryton
visited the weekend with Bre. and Mrs. Bryan Knowles
and family.
Mr. Cebe Ready of Lubbock visited Wednesday evening
With Mrs. Ollie Nelson and Mrs. Bonnie Koontz.
Ellen Green and Johnny Naylor returned from a week at
Camp Cibola. Johnny was awarded best camper in unit
three.
Mr. and Mrs. Doss Finley and Mrs. Hubert Rhoades
went to Amarillo Tuesday.
Rickey, Scott, Kim and Sherry adam from Hereford vi-
sited the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Donald adam and
family.
Mrs. Vance Gray took Mrs. Irene Gray to the doctor
Tuesday in Groom for her check up.
Mrs. Burk DeBord and Mrs. Hubert Rhoades attended the
funeral service of Mrs. Mary Dozier Friday morning.
Mr. and Mrs. David Lane and family of Happy visited Mr.
and Mrs. J. B. Lane Sunday afternoon. They all visited
Mr. and Mrs. Jake Moffett and picked plums.

and Mrs. John Fuller and Mr. and Mrs. Dee HeRon Sunday.
Mrs. Eudor Joyner of Amarillo spent the weekend with
her mother and sister Ollie Nelson and Mrs. Bonnie Koontz.

Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Mahaffeyhad Sunday dinner in Claren-
don with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Shannon. Mrs. Shannon and
Mrs. Mahaffey attended funeral services for Denzel Davis.
Lee Tatum from Clarendon spent the Friday night with
Hugh Mahaffey. They are helping Hubert Rhoades movepipe
this week.
The Ashtola Needle Club will host an ice cream s',pper
and forty-two party Friday night July 20th. We will eat
at 8 p.m.
Everyone come and bring a cake or a freezer of ice
cream.

Singers set at Calvary
Johnny and Nelda Flanagan, gospel singers, will be pre-
sent at the Calvary Baptist Church+ Sunday, July 22nd.
The Flanagans have been with the Calvary Baptist Church
several times before and they are always a great blessing
to all that hear them.
They will also be singing for the evening service at 7:30
p.m.
They are the greatest team of gospel singers that we
have ever known. If you miss one of the services you have
missed a real opportunity to hear some of the finest gospel
music that has come to this part of Texas.
Everyone is invited to all the appearances.
