50-mile bike ride
Ten boys from Boy Scout Troop 33 completed a 50-mile
bicycle ride Sunday afternoon in seven hours.
The boys met at the First Christian Church at 1 p.m. and
rode south on Highway 70.
Councilor WeB Henson accompanied the following boys:
John Tucker, Dewey Ford, Chris Ford, Keith i:loyd, Dan
Hall, Paul Hermesmeyer, Butch Blackburn, Lloyd Burrow,
Calvin Burrow and Donnie Garm,-m.
Coming events for the troop include the District Camporee
Sept. 28 and 29 at Greenbelt Lake, the District Swim Meet
Aug. 16 at the Pampa Youth Center and the Atomic Energy
Merit Badge competition Oct. 13 through Nov. 3 at AmTrillo.
