A Short Biography of Dan True follows: Dan True has just finished a major hummingbird book to be published by UNM press in the fall of 1992. He is also the author of A Family Of Eagles and Flying Free. Family was condensed in Reader's Digest in April 1981. Flying Free has been condensed by Reader's Digest international editions, and in the US hardback condensed books in June 1990. (Flying Free was first English language book bought published by China in 50 years). Also have written several articles for various magazines on various subjects, most recently Al- buquerque Living, and New Mexico Magazine. He is a Com- mercial pilot with flight tor and Instrument ratings with over 3,400 hours. In 1967 for KFDA-TV in Amarillo, he piloted an aircraft into the fringes of two hurricanes, including "Buelah", 160 mph Casey Alexander, son of Richard and Barbara Alexander of Clarendon, is a 16 year old Junior at Clarendon High School.
